Door lock sound (open and close) with little bit of eq and compressor. Recorded at my front door with portable sony digital recorder in coquitlam, bc, canada.
A door is unlocked and opened to the sound of a moderate rain. It is then closed again and there is a short period of the rain sound continuing, only muffled by the closed door.
Here's a quick sound bit of me opening my wooden door in my garage that leads to my downstairs basement. Feel free to use this for your own projects, of course. Recorded with a zoom h4n.
3 door open sounds, followed by 4 door close sounds. Some wind audible in recording. This was an oven door in the ruins of the bakery in inneston ghost town, south australia.
Wood door sound: various speeds of open and closing a wood door with a lot of speaky sounds. Recorder: zoom h4n with the internal mic on 48khz with 24bit.
I think, this sound is good for spawning metallic or sharp objects in games. Maybe, falling of metallic barrel or some strange space rocks will be apropriate. Opening of spaceship doors seems good too.
I'm a student studying sound and i and recording sounds this is one of the recordings. This sound was made by having the microphone near a fridge door that was opening and closing.
